A minimum of 2-3hrs contact time (course dependant), consisting of practical and theoretical activities. This qualification can also be combined with the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work, 8/16hr Outdoor First Aid, 3-day First Aid at Work or simply as a bolt on to a accredited held course, providing the minimum contact hours and assessment criteria has been achieved.

• Equipment • Emergency planning and remote medical assistance • Environmental Issues • Primary survey & Secondary Assessment • Life-threatening Bleeding Control • Haemostatic dressings & Tourniquets • Crush injuries • Effects of extreme cold • Lyme disease • Handing over to the Emergency Services
