This one-day Emergency Outdoor First Aid qualification is designed for outdoor professionals and where emergency medical support is close by.
Learners will gain the skills and knowledge to respond to a range of emergency situations covering CPR, unresponsive casualties, choking, blood loss and a range of outdoor situations. The qualification meets the requirements of the Institute for Outdoor Learning band 2 training.
The minimum classroom contact time of 8 hours must be delivered over a minimum of 1 day. The course can be spread over a maximum of 4 weeks ensuring that each session is a minimum of two hours.
