Exercise Great Escape 1/05

General.  

A Military Style Operation deploying as required, which leaves you and your section of four, on the run from the Enemy and in search of clues to assist you in achieving the objectives given to you by your agent. See the photo's from the last trip

Vacancies.

There are only 24 vacancies on this mission,  so  priority will be given on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Other Missions will be available later in the year.

Programme.

Friday - Travel to our Secret Location, upon arrival you will be introduced to your agents shown your accommodation for the evening, then you will be given a brief and a chance to organise your equipment for the remainder of the exercise.              
Saturday - A full days instruction learning Field Craft, Camouflage and Concealment, Shelter erecting, Map Reading, Survival and many other skills. 
Saturday/Sunday - Exercise Great Escape will commence at 16:30hrs Saturday, from then your Team is on the Run. You will need to stay one step ahead of all the other sections and use the skills taught to you by the "Friendly Forces"  if you are to complete all of the tasks without being captured and prevent being interrogated.
Sunday - On completion of the final objective your team will be given a full de-brief on its achievements and then you will have a chance to 'Clean Up' before your departure - provided you have not been taken for interrogation of course! 

Transport.

We will be traveling to our secret location by minibus, departing from a pre-arranged pick up point at 18:30hrs and expecting to return  by 18:00hrs on Sunday.

Accommodation.

As you will be on the run your accommodation will be very basic, a farm-yard barn, shelter or your agent may direct you to a local scout hut.

Clothing & Equipment.

Military Style clothing and equipment will be provided however, you will require a full tracksuit or other suitable clothing, boots or sturdy walking shoes should be worn. A packing list of all clothing and equipment required will be given to all participants on receipt of the booking form.

Insurance.

All groups will be covered by your our Upper Limits policy providing all personnel have completed a Health Questionnaire & Liability Waiver. You are advised to take out personal accident insurance if you have not already done so.                       

Cost.

The weekend will cost £175 per person, which includes travel, food, accommodation, instruction and the use of Military clothing and equipment.  You may wish to take a small amount of money.
